One thing many prospective brides or couples do not consider when choosing flowers for their wedding is the availability of particular flowers during the time of year they plan to get married.

Gardenias are available all year long. These richly aromatic flowers are typically cut by the grower to have a stem less than an inch long. Florists can easily fix this for use in your bouquets and corsages with the use of a bit of wire and tape but it makes the use of gardenias impractical in some types of centerpieces. They really are wonderful when floated in shallow bowls.

Gardenias will brown very easily from contact. Handle them with care and expect corsages and bouquets made with them to show some wear and tear by the end of the evening both from lack of water and from handling.

Hydrangeas are available all year. However, there are wide variations of price and quality for this flower. Hydrangeas are in season during the summer. While many varieties are available all year, many hydrangeas bought off-season are undersized and lower in quality for a much higher price tag.

Hydrangeas are very thirsty and prone to wilt easily from heat or lack of water. The white varieties of hydrangeas show bruising more than other colors do.

One thing many prospective brides or couples do not consider when choosing flowers for their wedding is the availability of particular flowers during the time of year they plan to get married. Flowers are very much seasonal products. Much has been done to manipulate the availability of blooms now, so that many varieties are now available for more months out of the year.

Some methods of making available out-of-season blooms include shipping them from areas of the world with different growing seasons, refrigeration of bulb plants to encourage them to bloom out of season, and growing flowers in heated greenhouses. All of these methods use more energy and fuel than simply using flowers, which are in season at the time of your wedding. This can result in more costly blooms inferior to those grown naturally.

Another aspect couples do not consider when choosing flowers is the durability of the flowers themselves. Wedding flowers need to look good for the ceremony and the entire wedding reception. Some wedding flowers can handle the stresses of a wedding better than others.

Some of the most popular wedding flowers have severe limitations many people are unaware of. To save you some time and to make choosing your fresh wedding flowers easier I’ve given some of the seasons, drawbacks, and benefits of some popular wedding flowers on my website at MyFlowers-On-Line.com.

France’s Loire Valley offers goat cheese lovers a veritable paradise. This region is is sprinkled with amazing Renaissance chateaux open to the public and an abundance of fine wine and cheeses. It is justly called the Garden of France.

Chateau du Guerinet near Blois is a perfect base for a cheese lover’s Loire Valley holiday and for a fairytale french destination wedding. They also have a new credit crunch buster wedding package offering incredible value.

The history of goat’s milk cheese in France started in the Loire Valley In the 8th Century, the Saracens of Arab descent were repelled at Poitiers. When they were expelled from France they left behind their goats and the recipes for making incredible cheese from goats milk.

The quaint villages on either side of the Loire River produce goat’s cheeses of different sizes and shapes. There are six AOC (Appellation d’Origine Controlee) cheeses: Crottin de Chavignol, Sainte-Maure de Touraine, Selles-sur-Cher, Valencay, Pouligny-Saint-Pierre,and Chabichou du Poitou. An AOC cheese is made within a specified region following established methods of production. Quality is guaranteed with an AOC cheese.

Pouligny-Saint-Pierre nicknamed the Eiffel Tower or Pyramid because if its shape. The rind is of natural mould. The pate is a soft moist white and crumbly. The taste is at first sour and salty followed by sweetness. This cheese goes wonderfully with a glass of Reuilly or Sancerre.

Chabichou du Poitou has a thin rind of white, yellow or blue mould and a delicate slightly sweet flavour. Pouilly Fume and Sancerre wines go nicely with this cheese.

Crottin de Chavignol known as Chavignol is hard black and knobbly on the surface, and the taste is a balance of sourness, sweetness and a little salt to be enjoyed with a glass of Sancerre de Chavignol.

Valencay cheese looks like a small black pyramid. It is purported that the shape of the cheese was originally a perfect pyramid. But when Napoleon returned from a disastrous campaign in Egypt he stopped at Valencay Castle, the cheese reminded him of the Egyptian pyramids and in a furry he chopped of the top of the cheese with his sword. The Valencay goat’s cheese has a rind of natural mould, covered with salted powdered charcoal and goes nicely with a glass of Quincy, Reuilly or Sancerre.

Sainte-Maure de Touraine is a blue-grey mould covered long truncated log of goat’s cheese. The cheese is mature, balanced, round with salt, sourness and an aroma of walnut. This cheese is produced all year long and is nicely complimented by a glass of Chinon or Vouvray.

Selles-sur-Cher also has a rind of natural mould covered with powdered and salted charcoal. The pate is hard at first, then moist, heavy and clay-like as it blends and melts in the mouth. The taste is slightly sour and salty with a touch of sweetness. A glass of Sancerre or Pouilly Fume accompanies this cheese beautifully.

What better way to enjoy these cheeses than driving through the Loire Valley visiting historic chateaux, maybe a hot-air balloon ride in the morning, gourmet lunch in village bistros, meeting cheese and wine producers sampling their products and returning at night to a friendly inviting boutique chateau hotel.

Don’t just visit a french chateau – stay in one. Guests get to truly experience the grandeur of living in a french chateau. If you love goat’s cheese you will not regret it.

For prospective brides you could entertain your french destination wedding guests with wine and cheese tastings on a trail meandering through the Loire Valley visiting historic chateaux. At your wedding breakfast you could serve goats cheese as part of your entree as well as on your cheese plate.

Wedding speeches pose a huge problem for most of us when we are expected to deliver a wedding speech. Being somebody’s brother, sister, mom, dad or friend we have to perform this act sometimes in our lifetime. Unfortunately most of us aren’t very comfortable with public speaking and often wonder how to get started with wedding speeches. But honestly, if we are prepared to learn, we can get over wedding speeches like best man speeches, groom speeches or father of the bride speeches with a little effort. After all you have to speak for only 4 to 6 minutes. Don’t ever try to give a long speech. Long speeches sucks as they bore the guests present at the wedding reception. In a wedding ceremony guests expect to enjoy their time and aren’t very keen to hear over delivered speeches. Yes there are fantastic speakers who can entertain the audience with really humorous speeches that are lengthier than most other speeches but those are exceptions. In fact, if you are not very accustomed to public speaking you should consider this as an advantage and grab this opportunity to write and give a short decent wedding speech. Not only it’ll be convenient for you but the guests are also going to appreciate it a lot. All you need to do is go through some pre-written or sample wedding speeches and gather some ideas on how to get started with your own unique wedding speech. But you need to take action; procrastinating is not going to help.

Though all the wedding speeches are fundamentally same but there are some differences that separate one from the other. For example best man speeches differ from father of the bride speeches but have similarity with maid of honor speeches, even though a maid of honor speech is given by a woman. Both the best man speech and the bridesmaid’s speech are generally light hearted speeches and are often full of humors. Where as father of the bride speeches are obviously emotional where a father expresses his feelings towards her loving daughter. Groom speeches on the other hand are easier than most other wedding speeches and are actually thank you speeches where the groom thanks everybody from the bride to her family, his parents and everybody else who made the wedding ceremony successful. Apart from these four major speeches there are also speeches from the bride, the mother of the groom etc. As a matter of fact, anybody can toast the newly wed couple. Now it depends on the individual if he or she wants his or her wedding speech to be really awesome or they want to settle with a bare minimum wedding speech.

Whatever you do, even if you are a seasoned speaker and not too concerned about delivering a speech in front of hundreds of people, you should get your wedding speech written well in advance and practice it for quite a few times to get used to it. And by the way, if you are wondering where to find funny wedding speeches, it is recommended that you search the internet. You will find loads of resources on funny best man speeches and the like.

More brides and grooms are choosing all inclusive wedding packages.

A proper all inclusive wedding package will include all vendors required for the wedding, coordinating, and handling the details of the event from the day the bride books, until the last guest has left the reception, and the reception location is cleaned up. Many all inclusive wedding companies work with their brides for up to one-and-a-half years prior to their wedding.

With an all inclusive wedding package, “all inclusive” should mean all the hard work is taken care of and the bride makes all the fun decisions – dress, clothes, honeymoon destination.

An all inclusive wedding package should include coordination of the entire event and all the vendors for a successful wedding (caterer, baker, photographer, videographer if you want one, officiant, reception venue, ceremony venue, florist, staff, music, linen rentals, chair cover rentals, table and chair rentals, etc). All you should have to do is pick out your wedding attire and rings and turn up on the day.

Depending on the time of year, many all inclusive wedding companies will run promotions offering free services with the packages.Such promotions may include free invitations, a free wedding cake, a free bartender, and even off-season discounts. It would cost more for the bride to go out and do the wedding herself than it would to buy a complete wedding package, plus she gets full coordination and a professional staff and crew.

The bride should beware of “extra hidden fees.” Make sure your wedding company does not tack on an additional $2.50 per slice to cut the cake or an additional $3.50 per bottle to serve the champagne. Having to deal with surprise fees as the wedding day approaches can be a nightmare.

All inclusive wedding packages save brides over 100 hours of work!

Ideally a wedding package should offer a choice of outdoor or indoor ceremonies and receptions. With this all inclusive wedding package the couple gets everything for their wedding—all they need to bring is the dress and rings.

The wedding company should be there to offer suggestions and help guide them through all that is involved in planning and running the full-scale event that is a wedding.

All inclusive wedding companies represent volume business for vendors. The bride and groom are one-time clients and do not have the bargaining power that a volume client does.

With an all inclusive wedding another person worries about:
• Mailing out several different deposits and contracts
• Will the tables and linens be delivered and setup before the cake arrives?
• Who will pick up the linens, set them up, and then return them?
• Who will pick up and setup all the chairs, linens, favors, flowers, decorations, bar, beverage table, gift table, sign in table, buffet tables?
• Who will run the buffet and keep it stocked?
• Who will cleanup from the ceremony, reception and the kitchen at the end of the night?
• Who will cut and serve the cake and champagne?
• What happens when the florist gets sick the morning of the wedding and can’t deliver the flowers?
• Who will run out to find someone, somewhere?
• Triple confirming arrival times and services with vendors.

Your complete french wedding package company should offer you discounted pricing and a stress free event that is run based on your own wishes

You can learn a lot from the web including where to find the best wedding castle package. The internet is really a great source of knowledge nowadays for wedding castle package. With the advance in internet technology, it is very common for couples nowadays to have a wedding websites. Yet, most brides and grooms do not really know how they should utilize the sites.

You can get some free hosting spaces and start it. Of course you may also get a free domain if you want. The advantage is that you do not need to spend any money if you do so.

Of course you will still have choices if you do not have any knowledge on html programming. There are a lot of services in the market and you can choose from a range of templates and designs when you are trying to build your wedding website. They are easy to use and you do not need to do any programming thing when you post new contents to the site.

You can even plan with your website. It is not just for sharing information for your guests. For example, there are companies which will help you to create wedding websites. These companies will add a lot of functions to your site. You may be able to arrange your guests list online. Online organizers help you track your schedule. The advantage of this is that you can access the information anywhere. What you need is only internet connection.

The next question is how you should use the wedding website you have created. In fact, the site should help you a lot when you are planning for your wedding. They especially come into their own for destination wedding venues. If you are going to have a destination wedding, your guests may need your help in order to arrange the accommodations. To this end, you can put the information of the hotels around your wedding venue so that your guests can arrange the accommodation easily. Of course you will also put the web addresses of the hotels on your wedding website so that your guests can book online.

It is very true that you may not be able to put all the information about your big day on the invitation card you send to your guests. As a result, you will try to put all the information about your event on the wedding website. You can virtually put as much information you want on the site. You may even arrange the guests list with your websites. You guests can reply if they will attend or not online. To this end you will not need to print RSVP cards. And this will help you to save a lot of money on your wedding invitations.

You could even find a wedding castle package with a wedding website included.

A wedding castle venue can be a fulfilment of a fantasy like a french wedding in a wedding chateau.

One of the most exciting things to happen in a person’s life is the wedding.

Your guests get to have a holiday and attend your fairytalke wedding. Planning for a destination wedding will take a lot of work and could be very demanding but the rewards can be worth it.

A private wedding castle venue setting is probably the most romantic location a couple could choose for their wedding. As guests descend the long drive and entrance to a private castle they will be immediately transformed into an ancient time.

A fairytale wedding castle sets the scene for the ultimate castle experience because the location is a real wedding castle without parking lots, a front desk, tourists in shorts and the hustle and bustle of a busy hotel.

A luxury castle hotel would require that a couple to take exclusive use (rent every room in the hotel) if they wish to have a private wedding. In England, a standard hotel room in a luxury castle hotel can start at $500 a room, making a single night’s fee as much as $50,000 for the hotel rooms only. A typical private castle would start at $5,000 a night. However a hotel’s fees include much more than the location itself.

These fees can cost as much as $2,500 a day depending on the size of the staff.

When taking a private wedding castle, my first advice to a bride is to allow the location to be the atmosphere. Rarely does a private castle need to be decorated and simplicity is the key.

The first destination wedding factor to consider is who can attend the wedding location.

Out of town weddings are preferred by couples as a way to lessen the number of guests at the events. Sometimes, when the budget is concerned the destination wedding etiquette is to set aside money for accommodations and transportation for the immediate members of the family and entourage. You might need to heavily subsidize or simply pay for some travel costs of a close poor relative.

Destination weddings are usually attended by only a few children usually being immediate relatives.

Guests can turn the out of town wedding into a mini-vacation just by spending their time together at the venue. Do some research. It is handy if the wedding couple have a wedding website so you can familiarise yourself with the location and possible sight-seeing and cultural activities on offer.

Just like a wedding at home, family play a big part and help out as much as possible.

Enjoy your wedding castle venue.

Now you have selected a wedding venue, and we hope you selected a beautiful castle wedding you need to pick a wedding videographer to capture those memories. Sounds simple, but when you get stuck into it, your preference for the style and equipment must both be determined, as well as any extras that may be offered and it can get quite tricky.

Video production is one of the most sought after services of today. This kind of services has done well for wedding celebrations. Moments that you have not seen in your wedding, reactions and emotions are well captured because of the different arts applied in video production.

Modern technology has advanced the quality of the equipment dramatically and the end product is often a lavish, well edited and professional product that you will be both proud of and keen to view again and again.

Be sure to look at samples to see how steady the footage is, how well things are centered, what is captured and highlighted, and what the overall impression is. A good videographer will be able to pan and zoom smoothly and seamlessly, and can avoid any sudden movements.

A few good samples should be enough to get a sense of their style and professionalism. Be especially aware of companies that over-use effects – this can often be to compensate for poor camerawork and stylistically your video could look very dated within a few years.

Sample DVDs will give you the truest sense of what you can expect from a videographer and you shouldn’t book them unless you are satisfied with this.

Any established videographer will be able to send you at least 2 complete for your appraisal that are relevant to your type of event.

The commonest weakness in ‘home video’ is the cameraperson constantly panning the camera left to right and back again, zooming in and out, all in one shot, from one location. Zooming and panning should be very rarely used. Instead ask them to take a series of static shots, from a variety of angles (following the 30° rule) and without breaking the 180° rule.

You must read the small print of the contract in order to determine exactly what you will get for your cash as this does vary greatly, but on the whole you can expect the presence of a skilled and qualified videographer at your ceremony and your Reception, with a fully edited and professional movie supplied on the format of your choice.

The format will greatly affect the video quality, and the quality of any copies that are made, so keep that in mind. Here again, a good camera will only allow the best format to maintain the integrity of the camera.

Anyone operating a professional wedding video service should have Public Liability Insurance, even though they are not legally bound to do so. They should also have the appropriate copyright licences to record the wedding service and any other copyright material that is included in the video.

The wedding videography industry for example is relatively young and there is a huge variation in the way people operate. You could easily find your wedding day turned into a movie set as your videographer orders guests where to stand and how to ‘act’ for the camera. Whilst it is appropriate for a photographer to guide guests for formal shots, for a videographer to do this will only result in a contrived ‘home movie’.

If you can arrange to meet the videographer in person to assess their professionalism, interest and commitment to producing your film project. This is also the best time to ask questions about their experience, working methods and what is included in the price (see separate notes). If a meeting in person isn’t possible due to distance or timing, then you should at least have a chat over the phone.

Most importantly on the day enjoy yourself and let the wedding videographer do his job. Hopefully you did your research and selected a good one – so trust him and try to forget that he is there and enjoy your wedding day. If you selected a french castle wedding you will have a magnificent back drop for your wedding video. We hope you have a fantastic wedding chateau.

Whatever style of wedding you choose; there are plenty of ideas for inexpensive wedding music at castle weddings.. For all sorts of music, from pop to classical, there are many of solutions to meet your budget.

Sometimes bridal couples can be disappointed with a DJ. The cost is high and the music generally a bit naff.

But now you can you take control and have cheap wedding music at castle weddings.

Here are some tips:

Use an ipod.
The best way to save on your wedding music is to use an ipod MP3 player with all your favourite tracks. For our wedding, we used our iPod and bought any additional music we wanted. It ended up being really cheap as we borrowed our friend’s equipment (cables, amp and speakers). It gave us complete control over the tracks we wanted to play, when we wanted them played and for how long. If you haven’t got an ipod or a MP3 player, you could use a friend’s.

If you are lucky they might even compile the playlists for you.

One wedding couple had a couple of hours of their favourite classical music (the ones that everyone knows like Pachabel’s Canon in D). Most of the classical tracks were taken from free compilation albums distributed with newspapers. They then had a couple of hours of the crooners over dinner and then their favourite pop classics and dance tracks.

Strangely DJs are not loosing business over the growing trend of having ipod weddings. It is because there is significant equipment needed. You need to have an amplifier, cables and speakers. If you are doing an ipod wedding be careful of those cables as you do not want any grannies breaking their hip on your trip hazard. Make sure you have adequate insurance cover in place. Whatever you do, do not skimp on the wedding insurance in case there is an accident.

If you are going the ipod wedding route make sure you hire some new fangled dance lights that spin and move in beat with the music. It ensures your wedding does not have a church hall basic birthday party feel.

If you do not want to go the ipod wedding route then you can ask a friend to DJ. If they like to DJ, you could be esceptionally lucky and they could have the equipment you need, so you will save on hire costs.

Another option for cheap wedding music is to have a young local band play. It will give them the exposure they need in front of an audience and be a really cheap alternative for you. They’ll also have all the kit, so no need to hire anything!

Always remember that a band will take up a lot of space so watch out if you’re using a small venue. The band space may reduce your dancing space. Also make sure you brief them on the type and style of music you want and give them a list of tracks. You don’t want them to play what ever they want. or you could end up with AC/DC blaring out of speakers at your wedding castle. You also need to discuss their attire or they might arrive in goth gear. In fact you need to ascertain what any musician/Dj you engage is going to be wearing.

Alternatively you could even try a local orchestra for a big sound. Or your music school or music teacher. More often than not, you will find that they are willing to play for you for a complete bargain. Start scouting around and you will be surprised at what you might find.

Start at your local school or in the paper for people advertising music lessons. You never know just what bargain you may get for your live music at your castle weddings.
