Whilst favor stores are full of cute little objects suitable as wedding favors, it is often the edible favors that will delight your guests your most.

So why are edible favors so popular amongst Wedding guests? Well to start with your guests will probably be somewhat peckish after the ceremony & after arriving at their seats will no doubt be very pleased to find something they can munch on straight away whilst they wait for the first course! Secondly, guests know exactly what to do with edible favors – eat them! They don’t require planting, lighting or washing with! They don’t need to add them to the mountain of other favors which are gathering dust somewhere & they don’t need to feel obliged to product them every time you pop around for a visit!

If you are considering edible wedding favors then here are just a few of the many choices available to you:

Tea – same as with coffee really, try making up small tins of loose leaf English tea or Earl Grey & couple them with a heart shaped infuser so your guests can enjoy them right away

Alcohol – mini bottles of spirits such as whiskey, where once a popular sight on many a wedding table but in recent years they seem to have fallen out of favor (excuse the pun), half bottles of wine or champagne are for those with big budgets, whilst bottles of cider punch are an affordable alternative.

Cocktail mixes – I dubious as to how these would taste, but nevertheless they make a nice favor when couples with a cocktail glass or shaker

Bottles of hot sauce – one for the boys I think! Chocolate coated coffee beans

Jars of preserve can be made at home or purchase mini jars from your supermarket. These are great for weddings with a seasonal theme as you can choose flavors to match the time of year.

Almonds are the most traditional wedding favor stretching back many centuries, these days most brides will choose the candy coated version in colors to coordinate with their wedding

plus size dresses

Your wedding day is probably something that you have been planning for years and while you want to stand out you really don’t want your bridesmaids looking surly or uncomfortable in your wedding pictures do you? Keep this in mind when you are shopping for your bridesmaid dresses and your whole wedding will go quite a bit smoother. Perhaps you should ask your maids if the dress you are considering is something they want; if not, then you may want to reconsider.

Of course, most brides will say something like, “It is my wedding and I should make these decisions based on what I want.” Yes, that is true, however sometimes these dresses are picked because the bride does not want to be outdone or over-shadowed by the formal dresses her attendants will be wearing. When in reality if she wants her wedding to be as close to perfect as possible that means everyone needs to look good, including the bridesmaids. Additionally, if you are having a flower girl, then you should have fun deciding from the many adorable flower girl dresses available.

While it may not be possible to make everyone happy it doesn’t hurt to try to come as close as possible. Try to consider your friends’ complexions and sizes when deciding on the bridesmaid dresses, as pastels are usually a fair choice as it goes with most skin tones. Unless you want lots of frowns and snickers try to stay away from overdoing the embellishments, such as bows and ruffles, especially if you are looking at plus size dresses.

You also want to take the season and weather into consideration for the bridesmaids formal dresses. Nothing is worse than having the entire wedding party look drained and wilted because the long sleeve Victorian style dresses nearly suffocates them during an outside wedding. Likewise, you don’t want short sleeve sheath styles when it is snowing outside.

Let’s say that you have done everything you can think of and been in dozens of stores looking for the perfect bridesmaid dresses and yet you still are not able to please everyone. So what do you do next? Remember, there is no hard and fast rule that says all of the formal dresses that the bridesmaids wear have to be exactly the same. If everyone can decide on one particular color, then perhaps you can make it easier by allowing each dress to be slightly different. Your theme will still come together because you can coordinate the colors being used. This type of compromise should please everyone.

Are you planning a wedding?  Do you have some great friends that have helped you out a lot and you want to say thank you in a very personal way?  There is nothing better than personalized bridesmaid gifts, and not just personalized by some stranger for you, but really personalized. There are some easy things that a bride can do that will let a friend know how much her support is appreciated and how much her frienship means to you.

A great idea for bridesmaid gifts is to make your friend something.  Do you sew?  If so, create something special for your friend and pin a note to it telling her how much her help and support has meant to you. While fairly inexpensive it will be a lot more appreciated than the usual gift of some small item that is not very unique and is soon forgotten.

Another great personalized bridesmaid gift is to write your friend a poem.Does that seem too easy?  It’s really easy, just put all of your thoughts onto paper, print it out beautifully on regular paper or have it printed for you, find a frame you like, wrap the frame, and give it to your friend!  It really is that simple and it will bring tears to her eyes when she sees it!  This is a gift that every friend would want but no one would ever ask for.

Do you make jewelry? With such a unique skill, make her something that she is certain to love.It is possible to produce something for her that could be worn at the wedding or that she could also wear with clothes she likes that she already has.  These are the type of bridesmaid jewelry gifts that she will not expect but she will really love and she will appreciate well into the future. When your friend understands that you personally made something unique specially for her she will appreciate it more than anything you could have bought, no doubt about it!

As you can see, personalized bridesmaid gifts don’t need to be something that you buy; in fact a truly personal gift may not be something that is purchased at all but comes directly from the heart. You are the only one who can decide what’s the best gift for you to give, however don’t forget that you can spend less money and a reasonable amount of time but the more the gift comes from the heart the better.

If you are looking for unique and affordable, seal and send wedding invitations may be your choice. Economical, earth-friendly, convenient and time-saving are some of the benefits of this all-in-one design. What more can you ask for in a wedding invitation design.

Here are some attributes of seal and send wedding invitations:

  • All ensemble items can be included in one simple invitation piece.
  • The seal n send invitations easily fold up into their own self-mailing pieces using pre-marked folding lines and are then fastened by clear or decorative seals eliminating the need for mailing envelopes. This saves time by not having to stuff and address both inner and outer envelopes.
  • The response card is attached at the bottom of the invite with a perforation for easy removal and return by guests. Since it is postcard size, no return envelope is needed and the return postage you affix is at the postcard rate which is cheaper than regular first class.
  • Both the printed return address when mailing the invitations and the return response postcard mailing address are typically included in the price.

There are many beautiful designs of seal and send wedding invitations from classic to contemporary. There is even a style now that is larger in width so it not only has the response postcard attached at the bottom but also a smaller sized reception card that can also be removed by guests if they so choose.

The seal and send style can also be your choice for other events for which you will need to collect RSVPs to have accurate seating and food arrangements. This design could be used for rehearsal dinners, post-wedding receptions, or anniversary celebrations as well as wedding invitations.

Being true to their name, seal n send invitations are all-in-one invites that are easy to fold, seal and send to your wedding guests.
