Every bride and groom wants to have the perfect honeymoon to follow the perfect wedding reception.

Some couples still follow the “traditional” route where the groom-to-be surprises his blushing bride with a dream honeymoon. Other couples spend months brainstorming over their ideal honeymoon together. No matter which route you follow, the following will make your planning easier:

Firstly decide on the type of honeymoon you want. Of course it must be romantic (I would say that is a given!), but as for the rest? Are you looking for fun in the sun or a breakaway in the bush? Maybe a ski-holiday in the mountains or even a tour where you can experience 7 countries in 7 days? It is important to have some idea of what you want to do, which would make deciding where to go just that much easier.

Secondly, decide how much you want to spend on your honeymoon. For many couples, once they’ve paid for the wedding ceremony and wedding reception, there is little money left over to plan an expensive honeymoon. Talk to your travel agent well ahead of time so that you can find out about any specials that are going to be available at the time of your wedding.

The great thing is that a lot of tour operators specialize in honeymoon packages, and those packages often include great savings and free gifts! Resorts in the Indian Ocean Islands are particularly popular for their honeymoon specials, where the bride sometimes only pays 50% of the standard rate! Make sure to enquire with your travel agent, and compare the various packages on offer. Some resorts will want to see your marriage certificate as proof, be sure to keep this safe with your other valuables.

Even if the venue does not offer honeymoon packages, be sure to still inform them that you will be visiting for a honeymoon. Some venues have honeymoon suites available which are more spacious and luxurious than other units, and such a suite will usually have some champagne, candles, flowers and even chocolates ready for the couple’s arrival.

Do as much planning as possible in advance. You do not want to return from your honeymoon with a list of places you “should have visited!” But it’s also very important to schedule some quality time with one another. The weeks (and even months!) leading up to the wedding can be quite stressful, and you need to use this time alone to appreciate one another again and fall in love all over again!

Planning your honeymoon doesn’t have to be a daunting and difficult task. No matter how much money you have available to spend there are options for you.  Even if it means that you have to settle for a location that is less than perfect, the main thing is the you and your loved one are together to celebrate your union.

So switch off from civilization for a while! Even though your friends and family are dying to know how much fun you’re having on the honeymoon…they can wait! Switch of your phones, leave the laptops at home, take tons of pictures and most importantly: Have a blast!

You may think of mailing wedding invites as being the final step in the whole process but some of the tips covered here can actually relate to your choosing the design and having them printed.

When wedding invitation shopping, be sure to carefully read the product description for a notice of ‘extra postage required’. This notation is typically made on pocket, self-mailer and larger square designs, but keep in mind it could be noted on other styles as well so be sure to pay very close attention to avoid surprises later.

Here are some additional tips when mailing wedding invites:

  • Be sure you have a return address either pre-printed or handwritten on the outside of your wedding invitation envelope, preferably on the back flap. This will make certain that the Post Office will return any undeliverable invitations back to that address.
  • If you are enclosing a response card with your invitation, make sure you place a postage stamp on the return mailing envelope as a convenience to your guests. If it’s a response postcard, only a postcard stamp is required which will save on postage costs.
  • To determine the correct amount of postage needed, the Post Office should weigh one of your assembled and ready-to-mail wedding invites.
  • Purchasing self-adhesive stamps will make things easier. The Post Office will have several styles for you to choose from or you may want to create your own custom wedding stamps through an online retailer. You can choose an already designed wedding stamp or simply upload a favorite photo to share as part of your invitation mailing. Personalizing them with your names and wedding date is also usually allowed.
  • Mail all of your wedding invites directly at a Post Office about 4 to 8 weeks prior to your wedding date, maybe even sooner if you are having a destination or holiday wedding. It is suggested that invitations be mailed 10-12 weeks ahead for weddings being held over holiday weekends, during holiday times, or at a far-a-way destination.

Last, but definitely not least, is something to keep in mind pertaining to the postage. Be aware of any scheduled postage rate increases that may occur between your purchasing your postage and the actual mailing of your wedding invites. With response cards, make sure the postage you provide will still be adequate when guests are mailing them back which could be up until 2 weeks before your wedding.

Tungsten rings are both ornamental and functional. Its design should reflect these two virtues. Its shape, size, and overall appearance should complement the way it’s meant to be worn. In other words, tungsten mens wedding rings form should match their function. A tungsten carbide ring, for example, should stay comfortably in place on the finger. In the variety of tungsten jewelry styles available today, one aspect of a good design tends to remain constant, and that’s balance. Balance doesn’t necessarily mean that all design elements are identical. An abstract pendant can be asymmetrical, which a design that incorporates elements that don’t exactly match each other. The pearls in a pair of earrings can be different colors.

Here are some common finishes you might recognize: Bark – Wavy, almost parallel lines resembling tree bark; Diamond cut – Angled “facets” cut into metal with a rotating, diamond-tipped tool; Florentine – Cross-hatched engraved lines; Hammered – Bright, irregular surface texture; High polish – Bright, smooth, mirror-like finish; Matte – Velvety, frosted, grainy finish; Satin – Muted, soft, lustrous finish. A tungsten mens wedding ring manufacturer recognizes the powerful eye appeal of a good finish. They often use special equipment or hand labor to apply “finishing touches” that are striking and appealing. Certain looks, such as hammered finishes, might be carefully done by hand.

If tungsten men wedding rings flatter the finger, then their design, however simple, fit the manufacturer’s intended purpose and add value to the item for the customer. Good design can also include versatility. Examples of design versatility are necklaces with removable brooches, pearl strands that convert to choker-and-bracelet sets and earring jackets that transform the look of simple stud earrings. Versatile design is an advantage to someone on a limited budget as well as to someone who simply wants to expand a jewelry wardrobe without buying a lot of different pieces.

Classic tungsten ring styles soon developed into lasered engraved styles and then adding a more unique black and gold zirconium plated tungsten ring to reach even a broader market. Carved tungsten rings have taken the tungsten metal to a new level by creating deep grooves in the rings. The deeper grooves take the place of laser engraving which, at times, can be slightly light colored on the metal. Carved ring styles stand out creating a deep statement. The ring styles can be manufactured for both men and women. Celtic ring designs make ideal carved tungsten rings due to the deep symbolic meaning behind the design. Celtic rings typically represent love, happiness and life which also symbolically defines marriage. Purchasing carved Celtic wedding bands with these designs will certainly ensure that your ring will remain beautiful forever.

There are plenty of websites out there that will show you a video of how their tungsten carbide rings perform against a variety of contrived tests. But they rarely explain just what the test is supposed to mean. What does striking a ring with a hammer have to do with its quality? It may be impressive that a tungsten ring can be filed and still retain its shine, but what does that mean, and why should I be impressed? The Informative: Most of the videos on tungsten rings seek to inform you, the consumer, on how superior tungsten is as a material compared with more conventional jewelry metals. They typically fall into two categories: filing away at the ring or striking it with something hard. But what do these tests mean? Taking a steel file to a tungsten carbide ring will invariably show that the ring is unaffected by the file and remains scratch free. This should be unsurprising since tungsten carbide has a much higher hardness than steel. Scientists have given each material a number called hardness which defines how difficult it is to be scratched. This is called the Moh’s hardness scale. Talc is at the bottom with a 1, while diamond is at the top with a 10. The way it goes is like this. You can only scratch something with a material that has a higher number.
