Most brides want to convey their own style in their wedding invitations, and with today’s tools, including colors, different papers and fonts, it is simple and quick to make wedding invitations that fit you and your fiancé’s individuality.  Modern wedding invitations, unlike those in the past, can be designed to fit almost any wedding couple’s preferences.  With a huge selection of styles, colors, sizes, and themes to choose from, anything goes!

Many things can contribute to an invitation’s look and feel including when the wedding is happening — spring vs fall for example — the location of the wedding, or the couple’s ethnicity.  Even the paper type can change the look and feel of the wedding invitation substantially.  Any of these features can change the invitation from modern to traditional to ecclectic.

Fonts and ink color are other factors that can make a huge difference in the look in your wedding invitation.  Again, there is a huge selection of font styles to fit any type of wedding, from the traditional wedding to the destination wedding or the Vegas style wedding.  Readability is key, however, so make sure you see a print out of the font to insure it is clear and easy to read.  It is always a good measure to show the invitation to a friend or colleague to see if they have any issues reading the font you chose.  Make sure to also check the ink color of the font and the paper color to see that is able to be read easily.

One of the newest trends is to make wedding invitations out of a photograph of the couple.  Photo wedding invitations also act as keepsakes of the wedding day. With this new popularity, many online sites have easy-to-use interfaces to allow you to create your wedding photo invitations online and see the completed product before you buy it.

No matter what type of wedding invitations you choose, it should be a uniquely personal reflection of who you are.  And with all of today’s choices, they should be able to find it!
