The wedding takes place outdoors during the spring. The guests mill about looking for something to do after the ceremony and dinner. The groom leads everyone to the pavilion where seats are set up around a blazing firepit. The guests will have such a great time that they will speak of how fun the wedding was and will keep the good memories for years to come.

How Should a Fire Pit Be Selected:

Currently, there are a large variety of firepits. The kind of pit you  select is dictated based on the amount of help you have at your wedding, or the level DIY you possess. Before anything else, you must pick between gas and wood burning designs. A gas outdoor fireplace is easy to ignite and doesn't require the maintenance a wood fire pit needs, such as constant feeding of wood. One negative aspect of this variety of fire pit is the need to transport propane containers. If you don't buy a cover for the tank, its appearance might diminish the atmosphere. A wood burning pit is traditional, and people like to add the wood to keep it going. You'll need to be sure to have ample wood for the size or number of pits you choose to buy.

The type is an important factor as well, it needs to fit in well with the type of wedding that is taking place. Fire pits can be casual, modern, or more formal. There are outdoor fireplaces that allow for cooking, and table style pits that give you space right beside the fire to keep drinks and utensils, if you're grilling.

The size of a guest list controls the necessary fire pit size and style. The majority of pits may be accessed from any side, which works really great when preparing for a large group of people. The number of guests will dictate the size or number you will need. One of the first decisions is the quantity and size of the fire pit. This will depend on the number of guests and the possibility of family members that may not get along. In the latter case, in order to keep certain guests separate you'll definitely want more pits.

Cost effective vs. As is the case with any product, firepits are available in a wide array of prices. The casual steel pits with decorative cutout designs are usually on the lower end of the scale, but this style may not be appropriate for your wedding. A more styled, but also more expensive, pit may be the right choice for you.

Whatever the style, size or budget of your marriage ceremony be sure to pick the firepit that you are happiest with.
